CD 'Anima'
- Chris'
2008 solo guitar CD 'Anima' is a welcome contribution to the
concert steel sounds in Australia. For those who need a reference
point it sounds like Alex DeGrassi fused with Bill Connors, but

ERM Media
Recording - The USA based record company
ERM Media has recently recorded The Wellbeing Concertino for
Clarinet and Strings with the Millenium Symphony Orchestra in
Virginia. Release is soon. ERM is one of the leading recording
labels of contemporary composers music
internationally.
The
Bushfire Concerto for Cor anglais - Rachel Tolmie and the
Concertante Ensemble under the direction of Chris Bearman recently
recorded this unique work in Sydney January 23rd - 25th,
2010. The work will be released on the contemporary Australian
composers label Wirripang.
Symphony of the
Birds - Currently a CD of this work is
being recorded in Boston Massachusetts at the studios of
engineer/producer/conductor Paul Henry Smith. Chris highlights,
"I'm really proud to be working with Paul. He is
amazing!"

Sacred - a solo guitar work for the
Sacred Exhibition, Christ Church Contemporary Art Space, Gosford
City, September 2009.
String
quintet -
for the Crossroads Festival, Gosford City 2010. Commissioned by
Glen Donnelly and the Wilhelm Quartet, London.
Coast and Scrub
Songs - a
song cycle for mezzo-soprano and contemporary guitar (classical,
and also two songs use 12 string steel). For Gabriella Di Nallo and
Luke O'Neill. Date to be advised.
