Release: The Bushfire Concerto for Cor anglais -
featuring Rachel Tolmie and the Central Coast
Concertante Ensemble under the direction of Chris Bearman. The work
has now been released (2011) on the contemporary Australian

Commissions, Concerts, Publication and New
works
'Winner' New England Philharmonic Orchestra
Scores Competition, 2010 - Chris' work First Light (adapted from
the Symphony of the Birds) won this prestigious US competition.
Performance was at the Tsai Centre Boston, October 30th 2010. It
received a positive response from players and audience
alike!
Lydian Caprice for String
quartet - for the Crossroads Festival, Gosford
City 2010. Commissioned by Glen Donnelly and the Wilhelm Quartet,
London. Another popular piece with the
audience!
North Country
Sketches - have just
been selected for inclusion in the AMEB guitar syllabus (Grade
8).
The

Brackish Songs
-a song cycle for mezzo-soprano and
contemporary guitar (classical).
Civic
Melancholy -
a work for two pianos, in response to a photographic
exhibition/series by Jamie Holcombe (Riverina
photographer).
