1985 -Jubilant Overture - for orchestra. 1^st place, James Hardie ‘Australian Young Composer Award’. Level - good community orchestra. 5 mins

1986 -Horizons - for orchestra. Featured in the New Music and the Orchestra Series 1986, Queensland Orchestra conducted by Richard Mills. Level - professional orchestra or good university orchestra. 6 mins

1988 -Homage - for string orchestra. A commissioned work for the Australian Chamber Orchestra, directed by Carl Pini, and with subsequent performance under Richard Tognetti. Level - professional or good university string orchestra. 9 mins

1993 -Concerto for Clarinet and Strings - revised in 2005-06 for Sydney Clarinetist Greg Turner. Level - professional or good university orchestra. 17 mins

1997 -Eastern Intermezzo - arrangement of a Grainger work foralto saxophone, mandolin and guitar. Level - professional or good university students. 3 mins.

2001 -Concerto for Guitar (The Luthier) - commissioned for the Darwin International Guitar Festival 2002. Soloist, Spanish virtuoso Jose Maria Gallardo del Rey. Level - professional orchestra or good university orchestra with a world class soloist. 25 mins

2007 -Symphony of the Birds - for orchestra. Commissioned by the Central Coast Conservatorium and the Central Coast Symphony, Gosford City. Level - professional orchestra, good university orchestra or good community orchestra. 25 mins

2009 - Bushfire - a Concerto for Cor anglais and Strings. Commissioned by Rachel Tolmie and the Concertante Ensemble, Gosford City.

2009 - Frontier Story for Mandolin Orchestra. Commissioned by Mandolins in Brisbane. 

Various other works (hours of the stuff!) have not been listed in the catalogue as they would take considerable time to transfer from the old pencil and pen copies to Finale.
